Physical Therapy, the Right Way

Polar Physical Therapy was created to bring exceptional care to Appleton and the Fox Cities without the limitations imposed by insurance companies. It is a clinic that is owned and operated by a single provider with access to all the amenities of a commercial gym in addition to a private treatment room.

Location

Conveniently located inside Evolve Fitness with access to more equipment than a standard physical therapy clinic—Evolve is outfitted with a variety of:

  • Plate-loaded machines, pulley-systems, and traditional free-weights, benches, and racks for strength training.

  • Treadmills, ellipticals, spin and recumbent bikes, rowers, and more for cardiovascular training.

  • TRX, kettle bells, battle ropes, jump ropes, bands, slam balls, and soft plyo boxes for functional training.

  • Mats, foam rollers, and mobility tools for rest and recovery.

Additionally, my private treatment room is equipped with an adjustable treatment table, a variety of resistance bands, and everything needed for manual therapy and dry needling.

*No gym membership required—my services are open to the public despite the location

Why Choose Polar?

The problem with the current state of Physical Therapy is that it is primarily controlled by insurance companies. They dictate evaluations, treatment, time, number of visits, and documentation, all in the name of profit. They do not consider current research or recommended best practices, and they certainly do not consider you, the patient.

Insurance is a reactive entity that does not value prevention; they simply wait until it is too late and then cover the bare minimum, resulting in poor treatment from overworked clinicians buried in paperwork, double-booked schedules, and shortened sessions. And on top of all of that, they still have the audacity to expect a co-pay from you for each visit.

The purpose of Polar Physical Therapy is to work with you to achieve your goals, whether that means improving function and decreasing pain (“Rehab”), or taking the appropriate steps to prevent those things from happening in the first place (“Prehab”), all without the limitations put in place by third-party payors and empower YOU to take control of your care.
